DESCRIPTION: Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Jupiter" hanging clock with a weight driven 8 day time and strike (cathedral bell) lyre movement with a moon phase dial in an open well oak case.
CONDITION: The case is in very good condition with a light, old finish, possibly original. There are several small areas of loss along the top right and left return molding. The original painted dial is in good condition with some fading and paint loss at the mounting holes. The original painted moon phase dial is in nice condition with age. The hands are original with a repair to the minute hand. The reeded brass weights are original. This is a scarce Seth Thomas model in very good condition. We have had only 2 sales of this model in the past 12 years.
